During Max's Diamond Retreat in South Africa, Max's Diamond Associates, Corporate Employees, and guests gathered for another unforgettable Max Gives Back Event. They visited the Dimakatso Safe House where abused, abandoned, and neglected children experience the comfort, solace, and nurturing they deserve and need in order to have a chance, if possible, to rejoin their families or live successfully in society. Max's Diamond Retreat Attendees arrived to plant gardens, paint murals, and share love and affection. The Max Family did what they do best -- offered their finest selves.

When the day was done, the mural remained and the vegetables grew. Each glance of the mural and the daily care given those seeds will, for a long time to come, conjure vivid memories of a magical day. The memories will be lifelong reminders of an encounter when kind strangers brought a world of love, compassion, laughter, and attention with the purpose of restoring hope and faith to innocent children. Fulfillment came from realizing they made the children feel important and became the much-needed reflections of the kindness and compassion that exists in humanity.

There they were. Max Diamond Associates and Max Executives gathered high in the Andean mountainscape, ready to get going. They were headed to a small village somewhere down the road from Machu Picchu. They were ready to represent the Max Family in one of Max’s greatest traditions - Max Gives Back.

Everyone - including Max International CEO, Joe Voyticky, gathered with the schoolchildren, painted walls, built fences, and delivered the donations (school supplies and learning resources) given by Max employees, Diamonds, Executives, and others. Additionally, ESA (the travel company Max worked directly with in Peru) also contributed to the fund collection. Together with Max's and Max Family donations, ESA purchased and delivered many very much-needed supplies to the school after our stay. The school director received the multifunctional printer, an HD projector plus an Ecran / Screen, electricity stabilizers, and some economic help for fixing electronic connections in the School.

In February at our 10th Anniversary and North America Kick-Off in Puerto Rico Max partnered with Rayito de Esperanza to help raise funds for an extraordinary cause. Rayito de Esperanza is a humanitarian organization that gives all it can to provide any measure of hope, happiness, and support to children with cancer and their families. Rayito de Esperanza provides:

• Medical equipment and services, including Social Services
• Financial aid, money for remodeling to make homes suitable for children's' health conditions
• Fun time with caring volunteers
• Recreational activities such as the MAGIC DAY, birthdays, clown shows and more

In the spirit of Max, we remained true to ourselves. We were able to help contribute to an important cause. That is what Max is about.

In June of 2015, Max International and its Diamond Associates traveled all the way to Phuket, Thailand for its annual Diamond Retreat. While the Diamond Retreat is meant to celebrate Max Associates’ hard work and dedication, it is also a time to recognize, in the surrounding community, those in need. This year, as part of the Max Gives Back Charitable Initiative, Max Executives and Diamond Associates gathered together with children from Phuket to build much needed transportation: Bicycles.

During Max International’s Diamond Retreat in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic our Associates took part in a Max Gives Back event that they will remember for the rest of their lives. Over the years, our Sales Associates have received so much from past Diamond Retreat that we felt it was essential that we all give something back. In a heartwarming day filled with tears, laughter, love and fun the Associates joined Max Executives to participate in a full day of planned activities with local school children. This event was just a small part of a larger effort by Max International to rebuild the school with the resources it so desperately needed. The Associates came prepared to provide the children with supplies and books, played games with the kids, and read to them in both English and Spanish. As part of the renewal effort, construction crews tore down the old structure and built a new concrete one that consists of several classrooms, a computer room, a cafeteria and bathrooms. We hope this new structure and its resources will continue to serve the kids and the community with a solid physical and educational foundation for many years to come.
